Doctorate in Physical Therapy
Certified in Dry Needling
License to treat as a Physical Therapist in Georgia
My name is Kristen Patterson and I graduated from the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston in 2010 with my Doctorate in Physical Therapy. My husband and I moved to Northern Virginia where we stayed for ten years to start our careers and our family.
I focused the first seven years of my career in the clinic on Neuro Rehab - helping people recover from Stroke, Spinal Cord Injury, Parkinson's Disease, and Multiple Sclerosis. I developed a broad range of skills in helping people move and walk in a way they thought they'd lost forever.
For the next seven years, I focused on private-based clients while building my family with my husband. I have loved the flexibility of treating clients on their terms without the influence of insurance or clinic demands.
In 2020, my family of five moved to North Roswell, Georgia to be closer to family and have loved the Crabapple area - it feels like we're settled and home!
I received my Dry Needling Certification and have focused on educating people on how to build strength while not being afraid of pain. Dry Needling has opened a whole new approach to helping people achieve their goals while reducing their pain quickly.
Feats of Strength: I've done so many self assessments over the years and without question my greatest strength is a strong disciplined drive to do well while also deeply caring for other people.
